Got chance earlier today to test out the nostr:npub1cvqlzvmjercdn0ypsmv8f7j9lge6ahsnueh5rparh53wuswftv4q49yjt3 Taproot Group Wallet feature with my pal nostr:npub18h0w55nsp839ezxnggf00jd2xc6yl0ht62mf5p8wwllu8s80wdcs83ws8m.

Have to say I am very impressed with the ease of use. Question for nostr:npub1cvqlzvmjercdn0ypsmv8f7j9lge6ahsnueh5rparh53wuswftv4q49yjt3, is the comms still using Matrix?

Very nice user experience and way cheaper than a 2of3 Segwit!

For 1in1out tx, the the 2of3 Taproot keypath spend is only 99vB (59% cheaper than 2of3 Segwit) and the scriptpath spend is 124.25 (34% cheaper than 2of3 segwit)

Amazingly the 2of3 taproot keypath spend is even cheaper than singlesig Segwit spend (10% lower)

* correction

taproot 2of3 keypath is 59 vB cheaper (54%) than 2of3 segwit

taproot 2of3 scriptpath is 34 vB cheaper (31%) than 2of3 segwit

Is taproot always cheaper, also with more inputs?

Is there a case in which segwit is cheaper than taproot?

I thought Odell said on RHR that the chat didn't use Matrix anymore

Just found their blog post which confirms.

Thank you and no, the new Group Wallet doesn’t rely on Matrix at all. Check out our blog: https://nunchuk.io/blog/group-wallet

Great job on the whole thing guys
