Reddit reflects the most accurate depiction of clown world, good for you - that place melts brains
The subs I was on were either pretty based or just for fun / special hobby interests, so I didnβt run into a ton of clown world stuff.
I just kind of switched from that to Facebook which IS very clown world π only because I met nostr:npub1jrx2fk666k5nt8vgak9xwyxlgcwh8fl9rvpwvvcpdthuqkcnptrqdfhtaq and thatβs where he spent more of his time back then. I had to pick which social media I was going to waste my time on and picked the one where the guy I liked was being awesome, even if it was kind of less awesome π
Same with Reddit, ditched Facebook years ago but yeah I can imagine.
Thank god for The Nostr, right?

Yea I bounced when they killed the 3rd party apps. I wasted A LOT of time on there over the years tho π€¦ββοΈ
Still havenβt found a replacement for some of the niche interests that it scratched, but grateful for Nostr and Telegram for keeping me decently informed

Off the top of my head- Gardening/permaculture, vandwelling/overlanding, diy, ultralight backpacking, skateboarding, hometown sports teams, bikepacking, my city group, conspiracy, etc etc
