Good looking "tomato" plants. For some reason mine don't grow tomatoes. π€
Haha some of my tomatoes have already green fruits, but weed is good too π€£π
Good morning! What a glorious yard! βοΈ
If youβre not already doing it, remember a dilute solution of a neutral dish soap or Safers Insecticidal Soap biweekly applied to the undersides of the leaves with a dedicated garden sprayer will keep those babies aphid free and thriving. Canβt wait to see the result this fall! Nice bed.
Thank you, I will try π
It works pretty well. The soap apparently dissolves the aphidβs exterior. Itβs kind of sad though because aphids actually look really cute. But they have a pretty big impact on leaf health. You will see hundreds of the telltale bites on the undersides of the leaves, along with little clusters of the aphids themselves. I used to use only a tablespoon of Safers in a 3 gallon sprayer every second week through the vegetating phase, avoiding the buds themselves during flowering phase, then stopped three weeks before the buds were mature and just switched to ph neutral water just at dusk after that for a βrinseβ. And never any chemical insecticide for obvious reasons.
Thank you, I use it from time to time if I see any aphids on my veggies, but so far I don't have any π€π»
