Elon Musk is building a factory that produces the largest rocket ever built on what is essentially an assembly line. SpaceX will be able to produce dozens of this rocket per year.

Production on this scale for rockets is a completely new concept. Previous spacecraft were built by hand with each being unique. Standardizing will greatly enhance reliability while mass production will lower costs by orders of magnitude.

All of this to be able to hoist 100s of tons to orbit enabling space construction and transfer of resources to the moon and Mars. It's not just hot air. Well, actually it is.. 🚀
