Interesting, I've never used Revolut, do they have better compliance policies?

They care less. Open up, do your kyc. Start using it for your rent for example. And by card do some random stuff with it.

Then add bisq and robosats. Start using slowly around 500€. Expand to 900€ but stay under 1000€

Sometimes (4 times in 5 years) they ask why you are receiving / sending money to xyz person. The list is long enough to chose from.

That’s it. Never had issues. If they close you, no big deal. But features like revtag to revtag 24/7/365 is a plus.

Sending from own Revolut to your local bank is absolutely no issue because both are run under your name

Another thought: don’t take their offer to add a German Iban. Use Latvia or anything else they give you. In eu you can pay your rent also from their SEPA / Iban. Don’t use German bank. Maybe that’s also helping

How do I get a latvian bank account?

I mean inside Revolut. Start the opening process and be aware if they try to give you a German iban

Ooh ok, ty!

You got this. After opening and ordering the free Visa card ( you want to be a good customer) change some recurring fiat contracts to Revolut. Not too many, just to make them see you as a good customer.

After that start the p2p journey. Imo the best solution is Revolut as a proxy to legacy world

Run from Revolut as hard as you can

Some of our European and Asian contributors use Revolut too, it's great. You can get a phone number from a neighboring country to obfuscate further. Their main HQ is seemingly Lithuanian (more liberal), but they can force you into shutting and opening a local branch in, for example, France. French and UK Revolut are different, I think.

A few of us also work/live with restricted accounts coz we refused to update KYC 👀 JFYI

Revolut has gotten worse. High fees and they blocked their app on android custom rom! This makes revolute totally useless! They force you to use a spying Google Android!

Stay away from Revolut!
