Why would you go back using google services with a de-googled phone? It doeasn't make any sense.
if you use a lot of apps it optimize notifications because it need only one connection for all the apps. Still I agree with you, and also I would use only FOSS apps that dont rely on firebase

Microg is not from Google it's just FOSS reimplementation of its proprietary libraries
And to be frank it's almost impossible to get rid of 100% from Google apps in Android but if you can do it 90% is a good way
