Been thinking about getting a handheld computer. It seems there’s a growing industry of handheld PCs, specifically for gaming.

But I want to run Ubuntu. Anyone have a recommendation for a handheld Linux machine?

You can run Ubuntu on a steam deck. Never done it myself but I’ve seen it done.

Yea, it’s run more like a desktop client but still works. Again, I’ve never done it myself but that is my understanding of how it works.

Thanks! I’m currently looking at the ROG Ally. Compared to the Steam Deck it apparently has better specs, but worse battery life. While the Ally comes with Windows, it’s possible to run ChimeraOS (allegedly). https://youtu.be/6r8t90fW7Kg
