Took me a long time to put the puzzle together. The first Bitcoin tx I executed I did realize Bitcoin was something special, but I had maybe 20% of the picture at that point.

There is SO much to learn about Bitcoin, money, monetary history, fiat systems and economic theory. Luckily I developed a serious curiosity about the whole thing, makes learning easier.
