Nope… first encounter was that I thought it was one big scam.
No, to be honest it scared me to use _because_ I didn’t understand it. That fear kept me away for longer than it should have.
A friend told me about it when it was $600.00 per ₿tc. I asked how do I get one? He said you have to know someone who has some and they email it to you. I thought, well that’s stupid. 😂🤣
I first heard about #bitcoin when it was like $50, but I was in middle or high school at the time so it didn’t quite compute 😅 I should’ve saved up my lunch money back then
That's like saying you discovered a new species and didn't understand its migratory patterns or offspring rearing behaviors. New things take time to learn- That's why life is exciting and time is precious.
Took me 9 and a half years. First 7 was me ignoring it and then a year and a half of studying as much as I could.
Took me a long time to put the puzzle together. The first Bitcoin tx I executed I did realize Bitcoin was something special, but I had maybe 20% of the picture at that point.
There is SO much to learn about Bitcoin, money, monetary history, fiat systems and economic theory. Luckily I developed a serious curiosity about the whole thing, makes learning easier.

I am still trying 😂 ended up here by accident fleeing from the algorithms but evidently I have lots to learn. It is almost like stepping at the wring party and feel a bit awkward but people is nice snd treat you with a cup and cheers.
