This is the 1st 3D model I did like 5 years ago for a paper on "Chiari Malformation Type I"

This is the 1st 3D model I did like 5 years ago for a paper on "Chiari Malformation Type I"

Damn impressive π³
Thank you. I did a lot afterwards. I'll share more π
Cool, but this looks more like bioengineering π€or do you do this in Med school as well?
Oh no this is when you become a neurosurgeon. My brother is one so he needed my help 3D π publishing a paper on Chiari Malformation.
Chiari Malformation is a condition in which brain tissue extends into the spinal canal. It has a 50% mortality rate.
Oh my goshh! Scary but also facinating from a medical perspective.
Man youβre smart!! Damn
Thank you dear πβ€ it means a lotπ
I learned Blender overnight and made this. I am much much better at 3D designing now.
Overnight!!!! Youβre crazy π³π³ππ
I had to do it. I used to illustrate 2D graphics but i couldn't make it more obvious in Illustrator so I decided to go 3D
Fair π€ doing everything in Illustrator sounds challenging
I know right π
Yeah, I find Illustrator useful for simple things if itβs more complex Iβm out lol π
Exactly, it takes so much time
In 3D it's so simple amd straightforward
π―π―
Closer to what it would look like if you physical built it
Do you hate niggers like I do?
oh boyI sure do hate niggers!
You know what the greatest thing with a censor free protocol is? It proves it proves how little relevance people like you have. By all means carry on with your dumb slurs. *mute*
Donβt let people like this bother you. Itβs more so a shit test to see if Nostr is as free and open as it claims.
You gotta laugh at the blatant ignoranceβ¦ because the poster is insaneπ I mean who names the self that.
Yooooπ this is wild.
Sorry, I'm late, this was your first model. Looks great ngl. I'm searching the term to understand it better. π
Yeah it was my first model. I learned to use blender in like 3, 4 hours prior to this. I had never before used blender.
Actually read about it, it's related to spinal canal very serious stuff. Btw blender is complicated & just 4 hours & first time, I mean truly admirable π«‘
Thank you.
Ngl and tbh i found blender to be easier than illustrator
That means you learn fast otherwise it's nightmare for first timers & main thing is your 3D model is also pretty good. π
Aww, thank you for your compliments π
Picked up a copy of Janeway's Immunobiology 10th edition when I had rona last week. Really fascinating! Would love to take some courses in this stuff. Between shit posts last night I was reading about dendritic cells, Th1/Th2 responses, CD4+ CD8+ t-cells etc. Probably should read The Cell first. This is a bit over my head π
That's really smart. I encourage you to yes read more medical related stuff. It's nit boring at all.
I believe that is a picture for a dural arteriovenous fistula. Type V.
Do you see the bulge in purple color?
That's chiari malformation
That first sentence could go an entirely different direction. π
Hahahaha
I see what you did there π€

I made that too but in illustrator
What I understand from your picture is that there is an mal formation (in purple) that connects a branch from the vertebral artery and a vertebral dural vein.
Cerebellar tonsils can descend up to 5mm from the Foramen Magnum. More than that, without other findings, it is Chiari I
You're talking about holocord syrinx right?
No, I'm talking something like this:
