Sometimes you have to be more ruthless so that you can be less ruthless in the long run.

What's going on in the US only seems ruthless, because it's a very visible response to the previous administration(s) that did fucktons of dirty shite in the shadows, and only some of it occadionally became visible, fx with the Snowden and Assange revelations.
Since 9/11 we've lived through that the US and with it, NATO, has seemingly been in a constant state of war/ wartime econony with the military taking up the lions share of the US federal spending, the Pentagon hasn't passed audits for decades, you've had the spying on the populace revelations from PRISM onwards, the entire big tech sector is in bed with the government to enable eavesdropping on most of the population of not just the USA, but the world, etc etc etc, but it'sTrump - who, despite his negative image - has been the oddball president that *didn't* start new wars... and he's the fascist?
Really?
Stop letting yourselves be spoonfed by the regime media, it's harming your mind.
This whole thread covers it well

It wasn’t a policy failure; it was a success. They meant for this to happen. It was illegal and they both encouraged and funded it. I’m happy to look the other way on the details of fixing the problem, and anyone who has a problem with that can show me what they said for four years.
