Regulatory attempts to ban anonymous BTC transactions are not a “reverse Trojan horse”. They didn’t trick us into making this possible. The ball always was and always will be in the regulators’ court as to whether or not they will allow anonymous transactions, and the answer was always going to be “no” once they started paying attention.
The answer will never be to get th to say “yes”; it will be to create something they can’t stop because they can’t even see it.

A gigantic mistake was made a few years ago letting Antifa, CHAZ, etc do what they wanted, night after night after night. It’s not the only factor, but the immediate reaction should have been to encircle the streets they occupied round up or shoot them if necessary, and say in so many words “You thought you could just do this and nothing would happen? You’re fucking done.”
