Question: I currently have all my Bitcoin on a Ledger and purchased both a Coldcard Q and Blockstream Jade Classic.

1. When I move to the new hardware signing device, do I import my existing seed phrase OR do I generate a new seed and then send the Bitcoin to an address on the new device?

You generate a new secure seed phrase and transfer the original Ledger wallet coins over to an address from your newly generated wallet. Also look up using coin control when transfering, to not mix and doxx your UTX0's.
