And while it may be cheaper, it's a huge pain in the ass if you don't have a level 2 charger at home. The experience of owning or leasing a non-Tesla EV just sucks., especially if you don't have a level 2 charger at home.
That's changing though, with the upcoming support of many brands for the Tesla charging network.
