When Rocket league was released in 2015 it cost ~15 dollars.

It did ok for a while but started to pitter out. It eventually switched to a freemium model and became wildly successful relatively speaking.

I still play it today.

The game is easy to learn and next to impossible to master.

We should have a nostr Rocket League! nostr:note1rygayfd6kpj4jn80txyww0r7dc5hzp9v4ntt7dxfk6mtn4s6xxyqe9r5vn

A hit game like that with nostr/lightning seamlessly integrated would do more for grounds up adoption of both protocols than any ETF

I never got into Rocket League, but I do play Overwatch. It used to be $40, but now it operates on the Freemium model similar to Fortnite.

What do you guys think of a tournament style bracket, Winners, Losers. If the money is good I'm sure the pro gamers will come to strut their stuff?

This is one of my dream projects ngl

open protocols will overtake the silos

the inclusivity of the business model of nostr is what will kill them

it's not just idealism it's a practical reality

platforms only survive until there is a protocol

napster wasn't killed by the US Gov, it was killed by Bittorrent

never hear about DMCAs anymore hardly at all do we?

protocol makes monopoly enforcement impossible

Ppv is doable with zap.stream, its been on the road map since the beginning
