The point of this post was to let people know damus’ current runway, we are not “giving up”, I was simply giving some perspective on how damus’ current funding strategy is not going to be sustainable long term and we will be looking at alternatives. “likely the last year” is just referring to the uncertainty around the business model and funding.

Damus has had amazing support this past year from individual users, opensats, hrf, which has been unimaginably helpful for getting damus to where it is today.

The feedback and ideas on this post have been very helpful, and will be taking everything into consideration for 2024 🫂
