This plot wasn't properly researched in the 80's when it was planted, and receives frosty wind from every direction. In recent years, the vines have also been neglected.

We're cleaning them up to increase the canopy size, with the end goal of propagating them in a better location.

The few months it would have taken to research the factors impacting this plot would have saved the vineyard countless amounts of resources.

Soon, I'll have pictures of vines that are in good condition on a protected south-facing slope.
