Yes, agreed that this is a dominant pattern.

The reality is that tech schools and the culture in India are quite optimized to produce people that work well in the middle to top management (and for some reason they also produce a lot of BE devs that can stomach enterprise Java).

I'm interested to see if this will continue to be the case into the future, as India tech sector is growing very fast now.

About the immigration question - I'm not convinced either way whether this is good or bad.

I just don't know. I have seen countries with strict anti immigration and they ended up stuck and behind...

Especially when they don't encourage entrepreneurship, where startup or owning a company is an offense.
