I don't get much of this but mine spills over when I press down if the thingy is a little off-angle (or maybe it's air pushing up. Either way, it's a mess! đŸ˜‰

I hate when that happens!
I typically just rest my hand on top and let gravity do the work to avoid sadness.
That’s what I do also. I find that if I give it enough time it plunges more smoothly.
