Wolverines are the same. Part of skunk family and have the same gland. They don’t use it. When working up north, we had an elder come in and skin one for our students.

Students of what?

School.

Interesting school

I believe Sikto has more to tell as time goes on. Such a demonstration would have ₿een an honour to be at.

^ agreed.

It was.

I hope to never be at a point where I need to skin anything like that. I’m good if I have a good place to catch some fish.

In Canada, in elementary school students learn about the fur trade and about aboriginal cultures. We bring in elders from many different nations. Artists, trappers, and storytellers. We often go out on the land with them too.

Cool! I trapped and tanned some hides before.

This is a very respectful way for kids to grow up learning about the land they live on and what happened before them from those that pass down stories.

Yes, agreed. They learn some of the story. Not all, but some. Much is left out, on both sides of the story.

Wolverines are some super ballsy animals. Not pettable.

Hahah. Nope.

Yeah you dont mess with this ever

They have steel angry balls of hate. They do not stop!!

1000% lol
