Is there any way I can filter out non-English content in global?
No ill will, but they seem to comprise the majority of posts I see there. The ones that I have translated are mostly very spammy Chinese dating advertisements.

The current strategy is to read global feed from paid relays (you don't have to pay for them) and upload to all the others because spam messages don't appear on paid relays as often.
suggestion would be to play around with relay settings until a useful global feed appears, it's probably different for everyone
