I don't know about self custody being radical. I think that's what the Global Green Collectivist Crime Syndicate would have you think. It's actually absolute control of your own wealth. You can take it with you if you happen to live somewhere like Canada, where the Collectivists will shut down your bank accounts. I think you need to look at the tech and reserve judgment, American has a 6th grade level education, designers should program accordingly. For you and me as im a super secret coder its pretty easy.
I'm just thinking from the simpleton point of view.. I have my encrypted Keys and if I'm not connected to a computer, I figure my wealth is pretty safe. If I have to really think of the tech, I might not like what I see? What might the issues with self custody be?

muun is not self custodial. it has a use case and I still dig it but I can’t recommend it in good faith. nonstandard backups huge red flag.
Muun is not even lightning wallet it’s an atomic swap wallet.
