You are most welcome! Just in case you have not read my post! This is very helpful.

Self-CPR during a heart attack. Please take two minutes of your time and read this:*

1. Let's say it's 7:25 PM, and you're heading home (alone, of course) after an especially tough day at work.

2. You're really tired, agitated, and frustrated.

3. Suddenly, you start experiencing severe chest pain. The pain continues down your arm and up to your jaw. You're about 5 km away from the nearest hospital.

4. Unfortunately, you don't know if you'll be able to make it there.

5. You're trained in performing CPR, but the person who taught you didn't explain how to do it on yourself.

6. How to survive a heart attack when you're alone? Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack and the heart's rhythm becomes incorrect, leading to weakness, there are only 10 seconds before losing consciousness.

7. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing forcefully and repeatedly. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as if trying to produce phlegm from deep within the chest. Breathe and cough (repeat this every two seconds without stopping) until help arrives or until you feel the heart beating normally again.

8. Deep breaths bring oxygen into the lungs, and coughing movements press on the heart and maintain blood circulation. The action of pressing on the heart helps it return to its regular rhythm. This way, heart attack victims can reach the hospital.

9. Tell as many people as possible. You can save lives!

10. A cardiologist says that if everyone who receives this message sends it to 10 people, we can save a life at least once.

11. Instead of sending jokes, please... contribute by passing on this message, which can save a person's life.

12. If this message reaches you... more than once... please don't be upset... instead, be glad that you have many friends who care about you.

Hold your finger on the message and pass it on...

A minute from your time won't hurt.

Thank you!

My high school friend shared this to our batch group. I wish all #Nostrich will have spare time to read it. It is very useful.

Is there also a link to more information?

Yes, my friend, from the American Society of Cardiology.

There you go BTC. Questioned answered!

I'm a doctor with two specialties and this is true dude. It's not perfect science, but if your heart is at fault, deep breathing increases your heart's pre-load and cough hard the after-load. It will likely give you a few minutes of gain before you arrive at the hospital or to alert the nearest emergency system.

Always if you see someone collapsed in the street and you see that they are not breathing and do not have pulse, the most important thing is give an order for someone to immediately notify the ambulance or emergency system, and to start cardiac massage at 100 massages per minute. Mouth-to-mouth breathing is no longer used many years ago. Just the massage to await the arrival of the emergency system.

If you're in a place that has an automated cardioverter defibrillator, it can also be ordered and a second person can quickly read its instructions and use it. Usually in cinemas, shopping malls, airports, there is always one.

Thanks for the affirmation!

Remember, if you see someone lying in the street with no pulse and no breathing, you only have to do 3 things to save a life:

1- Give a command to someone to immediately alert the emergency system.

2- Start heart massage at a rate of 100 per minute. Mouth-to-mouth resuscitation is no longer recommended. Never interrupt the massage, If you get tired, ask for a replacement.

3- If you are in a crowded area (cinema, mall) you can give the order to a third person to look for an automatic-defibrillator, read their instructions for quickly use. They are usually on these sites. They're easy to use.
