to be fair, we've provided *significantly* more aid to Ukraine than Israel since the war broke out.
I played with this idea with ai so give it the appropriate pinch of salt. Flavor to liking.
No one who knows their history or economics would have voted for any of it, provided they weren't profiting from it.

what about in the last 50 years?
1975–1984
Israel: ~$50B
Ukraine: $0B (pre-independence)
1985–1994
Israel: ~$65B
Ukraine: ~$0.5B (post-1991 independence, limited aid)
1995–2004
Israel: ~$60B
Ukraine: ~$5B
2005–2014
Israel: ~$55B
Ukraine: ~$3B
2015–2024
Israel: ~$50B (includes $17.9B since Oct 2023)
Ukraine: ~$175B (bulk since 2022 due to Russia conflict)
Totals (1975–2024)
Israel: ~$280B
Ukraine: ~$183.5B
Do this again but add the nominal trade totals between the two countries.
There is no realistic way to separate legitimate trade and unnatural favouritism. So not going to equate that to no strings attached money airdrops for obvious reasons. Not sure what the post is either. Some weird moral equivocation
point*
Nothing to do with morality.
Geopolitics is a game of trade & power.
USA gains in all directions with respect to controlling Israel.
You seem to have an issue with looking at this holistically though... 🤔
Geopolitics doesn't care about my or your morals.
There is only what begets power & combatting power of your competition / foes.
I'm actually for defending Ukraine, but anti provoking Russia.
I don't really care that much if Ukraine has less land because they made a dumb move joining NATO & provoking Russia - that war should end if it's possible to end it.
Regardless of morals, I think it's quite clear that there is a battle for freedom in the East.
Authoritarians vs democratic nations.
lmao what are you even on about?...
I simply pointed out a fact; the rate of aid to Ukraine far outpaces the rate of aid to Israel. that's just a fact. Not sure why that's so triggering
Further trade with Israel is ~50x more & thats nominal value which doesn't take into account secrets shared and brain import.
Just look at the chip factories & tech hubs being built.
Hah! Good one. 👏👏👏👏💯😂
