the messaging situation on nostr is abominable

i can send myself messages between amethyst and coracle on my phone

i seem to be able to get messages to go across between flotilla and coracle on my pc

but i can't get coracle to coracle, or amethyst to coracle, or amethyst to nostrudel to work between pc and phone
