Its not about the number; its about the contract you sign with the devil. Of course its easier to use the system, but its completely unnecessary for them until they are old enough to become an employee. In the meantime a parent has time to collect the information to their child's benefit. There are alternative ways to exist in the country without being a SSA slave, and if it means 17% of your child's lifetime of labor, one should consider educating them of ways to avoid it.

We can't be held responsible for ignorance, I don't blame you for not understanding it when the time came for your decision. It was more difficult to exist outside the machine before #bitcoin, but its becoming easier; No more need for bank accounts. Educate your wives, they need to be equally yoked with you on this effort.

I'm not writing to inflict guilt, but to educate those that have the opportunity to effect real change directly in your children's lives.

No that’s the thing, I do understand it all. I spend most of my

Time in the gray market, but in central NC I’m an outlier. I’ve not seen a single Bitcoin ATM within an hour of me. The gray markets here use USD.

It’s more about picking your own battles and giving your child room to pick their battles. My daughters may grow up and think I was coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs and had I not done what I did resent me for the fact that they now had to struggle to get the credentials they needed for a job.

I also come at this from knowing the experience of someone who was born to parents working undercover for the state dept, and the trouble they had to get his ID’s after they were back to normal living. It’s not a simple task. We did homebirth, we’re doing homeschool, she’ll have all the options, but that cross to bear isn’t for me to choose for her.

You assume more than what I suggest. I am in favor of proof of citizenship issued by your state in the form of a birth certificate, but a SSN has no influence over that. I also recommend you get them a state issued ID card so they have two forms of ID required for almost anything (if youre a legal citizen). There is a form you can fill out for them before they are of age that enables this, and it is more difficult after they are 18. One can live off of bitcoin today, its not that difficult, it can be done. To not get your a child a SSN is not bearing a burden on them, they can sign up for it any time. The burden is on YOU to inform them how to take advantage of their freedom.
