Npubs aren't persons.

They're half of a key pair.

Two halves walk into an Npub, one person walks out.

Nsecs are not keys to a Nostr account.

There is no account.

That is why it is impossible to delete a Nostr account. Can't delete something that doesn't exist.

Even Apple doesn’t understand this.

Hardly anyone does.

Once this clicked in my head, and I realized how many problems it solved, I understood what a game-changer this is.

What’s the idea for Nostr project you’re working on?

Mostly, the guys are working on it and I nag them.

There's an SDK and a website with some utilities. Some interesting clients will be built with the SDK. That's where I come in, again.

What you can delete are the events signed by the pen, but not the pen itself.

The pen is just strung-together letters and numbers and you can't make a string stop existing.

All you can do is put the pen down and walk away.

The keys are actually pens you sign your events with, and you can have as many different pens, as you want.

It is an "n npub to n entities" relationship.

One of the entities could be a human, a group of humans, a car radio, a bot, or a cat.

You could have a pen you use for your home appliances and your door lock.

You could have a pen you use for your picture gallery and another for your tweets.

You could have a pen for zapping your taxi driver and another for paying your utility bill.

A pen for your medical records and a special one for your love letters.

The pen is mightier than the sword.

Yes.

And this is a pen that cannot be taken away, that never runs out of ink, and that writes uncensorable, encryptable letters.
