How did you convince them to let you have your own money? I tried this some years ago and couldn’t.

I told them i had a hardship. Both gave me my money, but i was no longer working.

If you are working you can ask to request a loan agsinst your own money. "Crazy" clown world

If you can not do the above

Also you can change your 401k to nobelgold.

Right. They won’t give it to you while still employed. I had hoped you knew something I didn’t.

That’s good! You can lay yourself off, declare financial hardship, withdraw 401k, then rehire yourself after conditions improve.
