You looking at the global feed? Switch to just your followers. Japanese content gone.

Use a WoT relay for your Global feed and turn off the major public relays and you will also see less content in other languages, since webs of trust are more or less language specific.

You could filter out some of their characters, not sure that's the best approach but... 🤷‍♂️

You can edit your relay list, you probably are just connected to japanese heavy relays.
