Ah a recipe I can understand 😆

I was talking my partner through a recipe the other day and he was like "ok but what is 'a good amount' of olive oil?" 😆

Ok so I made the dough today. I this I probably added a bit too much water as it's a fairly sticky dough. Looks a lot like low hydration bread mix at this stage. I did 2:1 flour to water and a blob of starter and a good wack of salt. I think I'll try to make it a bit of a stiffer dough next time but I'll cook this batch up from tomorrow and see how it goes.

that is the great thing about winging it. if its too wet, you can add a little more flour, or water and make crepes or pancakes 🙂

Reporting back in. Best tortillas ever thank you for sharing! I'll make them a little stiffer now that I know what texture I'm aiming for.

This is so much simpler than what I was doing before and tastier too.

I'm going to try oven roasting to make tortilla chips too.
