Yep. Trade offs with just about every option. Just gotta find the right fit for you. The best thing I can say is if you use a custodial like WoS or Alby. Just limit it to how much you’re willing to potentially lose. I think of it as how much cash would I keep in my wallet during the week. Not your keys not your coin
I've got both and only keep maybe 1-2k on them at a time, just refill or add if I want to zap more. Alby was the most seamless fasted NWC so I was using that but for some reason nothing seems to be going out the last 48 hours.
For zapping I don't mind the custodial things. More just playing around with the other options while I'm inclined.
Which Nostr app are you using? Please share some details with support@ getalby. com. I will look into it.
Using Amethyst. The loading ring around the zap icon fills completely, reports no error when finished, then displays nothing, and when I check my Alby wallet no payments display as attempted or sent.
Receives seem fine.
