Notes dont mention what relays they are posting to -> makes discovering relays still a tough task-> creating centralized relays -> nostr becomes easier to censor

everyone should care about what’s being changed or added on their “social network”, though nostr is the only place you can actually see everything that’s changed or implemented.

Roya, I have a tip. It doesn’t work, so great for Nostr, because of the training cut off date, but I ask chatGPT to explain technical concepts, or snippets of code all the time. And I ask it to keep explaining deeper and deeper or simpler or simpler, until I understand.

i know. still a real person behind the screen, who deserves to say what they want to say. especially since they took all that effort and energy to say it. i’ll hear them out.
the best thing about freedom tech is the ability to acknowledge that trolling is someone’s release. it’s a good drug to some.
the bad also helps with introspection, so i want to know what angers people about me so much they can’t tell me without hiding. people want somewhere with complete freedom but are also scared of tits.

I would have it so the client is simply providing the platform (the TV). User has choice on relay (channel). Client has less duty on input/requesting, more on output/receiving. Better for the individual, as Indiv will more likely use client if it’s sending notes better to the relays
I think amethyst is the only one. I use a iPhone unfortunately so I have no clue.
I like the idea of clients automatically subscribing to the relays listed in the notes of the npubs they follow, I can see how this could allow for a more decentralized mesh of relays than there is now.
The problem is that it would be a clusterfuck of bandwidth usage if based on the NIP-01 protocol, but seems like it might be workable with client-relay adoption of strfry's #negentropy set reconciliation algorithm. Exciting times.
Hmm maybe. I will usually filter through the feed of who I follow first, then move over to the relays, to flip through like TV channels
NDK (Highlighter etc), Snort, Coracle, Gossip, ZBD Social, njump are somethat I know.

Why is that so bad?
It's a model that I have begun to despise over the years. I don't want to whore myself out or my followers out to gain access to something. Just give me access. If it's good, the product will speak for itself.
Well, you don't have to whore yourself, you can just wait. Beta testing is good to help iron out some bugs, but I personally would never do anything like that. I would just wait or not pay attention and move on.
But I think you're probably not the target demographic for ZBD Social. Which should be a good sign, sign that Nostr can reach other kinds of people that aren't the technical/very-interested/early-adopter/freedom-focused type.
