I’m taking this corn down. What’s the best thing to do with the stalks? Just mulch them up with a machete and bury them?

The corn cobs and the base of the plants are the most dense from my experience smashing them with a hammer or brick might be less work? Then you can incorporate into the soil, compost, or use as mulch.
