Don't ask me how I got here, but 32+/-1 weeks is the prime time to eat a coffee fruit out of the tree. Yes, I had a coffee tree at home.

If you dont mind me asking, what grow zone were you in?

South of Brazil, outside of the main producing regions over there.

I repost any 💚 stuffs

If not for making drinks from the coffee beans or cascara, how else do you consume coffee fruits? Do you just munch on them??

Obligatory #coffeechain

I find that sucking the seeds is like a substitute for chewing gum.

I also had a coffee tree at home when I was a kid. So juicy and sweet. What an amazing fruit. #coffeechain

What does a coffee fruit taste like? I never tried one, but I am curious 😄

It's like a hard shell berry with a huge seed inside. There is not much to each but we liked it.

That’s very cool! I feel like I have to try it some day!

I need to try growing coffee again. Not really suited for the climate im in but damn it I still wanna try.

What does it taste like?

They are refreshing to chew on. A lot of work to make a cuppa though!

Wow.
