The finished rosehip jam... 
Recipe:
1:1:1, seeded rosehips, cored apples, and water. ¹/² : 1, sugar. Splash of lemon juice. Optional mint leaves, whatever suits your tastes. Simmer on low approx 1 hour. Blend. Or not, but I'd recommend peeling the apples if not blending.
I am very fortunate to be able to gather this in an afternoon & throw it together in an evening. ❤️
