Always loved 'em, gf didn't. Until our kid was old enough to play.
Thanks for sharing.. I always feel like a stupid idiot who don’t get the rules like for hours of playing, and then when I finally get them, it’s not that much fun because I’m exhausted already 😁 Maybe I just have intelectual friends who love to bring games with the rulebook of the size of old testament and maybe there actually are a simpler fun games 🤷🏻♂️
For complex games, they need to be played several times before you're actually "playing". Before that, you're orienting to the rules, and later to tactics and strategy.
That’s exactly my thoughts. My experience with the games is mostly when visiting friends. And they go like no worries man you’ll get into it fast. But… as I said before :)
