A bailout by the government is not capitalism. That is socialism. The USA hasn’t been capitalist since 2008, and arguably much, much earlier than that.
We’re just told “this is capitalism” so we can blame the fallout of socialistic tendencies on it.

Yup.. what we have now is essentially an amalgamation of mini socialist states (mega-corps) under one monolithic federal state. In classic fashion, the gov't has failed it's *one* job in a quasi-capitalist society, which is ensuring competition exists and killing monopolies/duopolies. Remember when Ma Bell was broken up?

Capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty than any other experiment tried so far. Religion requires belief without proof and that is quantifiably probable. I think you mistake capitalism for socialism as the religion because there isn’t any example long-term of a socialist regime that hasn’t obliterated the middle and lower class in history.
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, and capitalism has also made incredible strides in oppressing third world countries and allowing economic bullies to strip mine entire nations for pennies compared to the revenue generated.
At the end of the day, capitalism doesn't exist. Communism doesn't exist. A tiered society with generational wealth exists, it sits a top a world that it exploits and will exploit for all eternity.
