Dislike slave labor

Don't like smoke in your restaurant

-dine in places with no smoking

Boycotts are the ultimate peaceful protest and are more effective than violence or voting or lobbying for a law

Also, a boycott is private by default -- it is impossible to prove a negative so your lack of purchasing is by definition participation
