Do you think protocols like nostr can change the Pareto distribution?

I think it can help trend towards less concentration

pareto distribution is human nature, but I do think that platforms' algorithms supercharged that nature

I think you're correct.

On platforms, it is a key to have the big names first, and ideally, to lock them in (Joe Rogan). Then the audience comes, and then it attracts the smaller creators. For the platform, it's beneficial to subsidize Rogans of the world at cost of everyone else.

Open protocol reverses the flywheel, imo. It's the audience and small creators first (they are better off than on the paid platforms subsidizing big names), and then the Rogans will be forced to come at last.

I guess my point is that engagement and compensation distribution on the platforms is even more skewed than the natural Pareto distribution.

But hey, it's pure theory. Guys from Tidal and other platforms might know better.

Do you think that currently 20% of nostriches get 80% of likes and zaps?
