Love this. Feel free to reach out if you guys get stuck or just wanna ask some questions. 🤙 I was signed up for two courses this past semester, but dropped one to dedicate that time to learning how to build on Nostr instead. Happy to share what I’ve learned.

Thanks 🤙 Any suggested learning paths? I'm not new to programming by any means, but my background is mainly in data analysis. Currently signed up to the full stack scrimba course which has been pretty helpful, but am looking for other paths that are a bit faster paced.
Nice. When you think of the things you wanna make on Nostr are they primarily web apps, native apps, backend relays? Sounds like probably web apps…
For now, the base case will be a webapp. Specialized relays might be down the way for more permanent notes, but I just care to have something up and working right now
Which technologies have you decided to learn? I’m using React because that’s what I use professionally. So my Nostr work improves my professional work and vice versa.
If you’re brushing up on JavaScript, I’ve taken one of Andrew Mead’s Udemy courses and liked his teaching style, so I’m betting his modern JavaScript course is good. If you’re going to use React I’d suggest learning Next JS with Vercel or Netlify for hosting. These both make it easy to connect your domain name and deploy your site to the web from GitHub. They will automatically handle things like SSL for you to secure traffic to and from your site. And I’m pretty sure they both offer free plans to get you started.
