I love the concept of nostr, but the UI and UX needs to catch up to centralized equivalents
Amethyst is clunky and awkward compared to twitter. Hard to follow threads
I'm optimistic that this will improve with time
Big shoutout to all the devs working to build apps on nostr!
For example, when I shared this post on Twitter, the link opens a browser window for snort.social rather than asking if I want to open the link in amethyst
Not sure if that's fixable, but it's an issue for users who want a seamless experience (me)
Please try out different clients & I'm sure you'll find one you like. Satellite ( satellite.earth ) has a good UI for threads though it messes up response sequence at times.
I'm not sure how technically feasible it is to open links in Nostr app but nostr.band allows a choice of clients to open notes in.
