The situation is complex, and the reality is that we might never have all the answers. However, we do know that the Israeli people have just endured a devastating attack akin to their own "9/11 on steroids." This marks a pivotal moment where the gloves have come off, leading to significant repercussions.
It's a combat zone where active fighting was happening. Of course there are going to be Hamas forces in every building. They move around to try to avoid being killed, and in the process of killing them, Israel is going to end up flattening basically every building.
They could make that case in court surely? I mean it contradicts what they say all the time about wanting to take over the whole of Gaza. They can defend that too if they want. This is something that signed up to. So if they are innocent why do they not follow your process they signed up to?
