Why are non-technical bitcoin influencers so afraid of the growing support for drivechains?

why do so many pro drive chain people rely so heavily on ad hominem wording? If the idea stands, it should stand on its own.
you're right, it's not nice to imply influencers are wrong because they're not technical (though I suspect that does explain some of it, since it's literally no riskier than liquid et al. (just a differebt group that can steal)).
I am genuinely curious though, pretty weird to see them all writing convoluted walls of text about drivechains in the past couple weeks.
you’re right. i haven’t yet seen a good non emotional technical article on what the benefits and drawbacks of drivechains are, and what the benefits of no drivechains are. in fact, you have to dig to find out what drivechains are purporting to solve.
