Is #nostr just a circle-jerk echo chamber? I haven’t seen many notes yet that talk about anything besides “look at us being decentralised”, “hodl #bitcoin” or “haha #worldcoin”.

Not that I disagree with these, but I am missing some diversity for this to be able to replace other social media for me.

Am I holding this wrong?

Start following hashtags and more ppl in general and your feed will start to get a lot more diverse and interesting. #grownostr. Without algorithms you have to curate your content yourself

It’s only on TestFlight but there, you just search the hashtag in the universe feed and you’ll see the follow hashtag button

I would if I could limit my experience to follows of my follows. I see no point in a global feed as I feel it's pointless to spend much time reading bot posts that escaped the careful curation of whoever designed the "global" feed.
