Today, two waiters were eagerly trying to convince me that the unusually vile Tom Yum at their restaurant was actually top-tier, and that I was just being toxic. As an "apology", they inexplicably offered me an espresso — while I was literally sitting there drinking tea. So I'm sitting there with my tea, and they go, "As an apology for our flawlessly delicious Tom Yum, which you personally didn’t like because you clearly don’t understand Tom Yum, we’ll serve you a cup of espresso".
