Dating in 2023 is purely sexual sadly. You can't get to know anyone, you can't have a meaningful discussion, you can't even say what you really believe without triggering most people anymore. So yes it's a nightmare and absolute nightmare.
I've found this to be the case when I use the apps, but not when I meet people organically
