I had been a VIM-only developer for at least a decade, and then I started using Visual Studio Code about 8 months ago.
Now, for the first time, I’m back in VIM, and I gotta say, I miss the VS Code features on which I’ve come to rely.

same timeline doing vim-only dev. I only use vscode when I touch JavaScript or TypeScript, and only because I’m too lazy to setup vim for those languages
I use both emacs and Visual Studio Code at the same time depending on which features I'm looking for.
