Alright you #paleo weirdos, what do you do about deodorant? So far "Native" is the only brand that actually sort of works and doesn't have insane ingredients. Got other suggestions? Don't say Tom's because somehow that makes me smell worse.

Thanks! I had tried going deodorant-free a few months ago and I think it leveled out after a little, but the "level" was still a bit higher than I'd prefer.
I've since radically adjusted my diet (much cleaner) and this is a good reminder to me to try again - maybe my results will be acceptable now!
It took about two weeks and the whole family stunk, then it leveled out. I rarely wear deodorant now. We cut out all seed oils, chemicals etc. we basically just eat meat, veggies, fruit all organic. My body feels a lot better too, not so many aches and pains.
Spray with distilled white vinegar. Also rubbing an alum block on your pits while still wet after the shower.
It takes time if you used common antiperspirants. They clog your pores hardcore, takes a couple of weeks for that to clear out so you can get on the other side and manage odor without them.
I haven't had an antiperspirant touch me for many months.
What's an "alum block"?
Made from potash, mostly sold and marketed as an aftershave these days, beware that it stings like hell on cuts just like alcohol. I've never used this brand but the site gives a little history. I don't rinse it off like they suggest and never had a problem. Same procedure for pits and shaving, wipe it on right after you turn off the water in the shower, wait 10 seconds or so, dry off. Very brittle so if you drop it you get tons of jagged pieces that are hard to use. Has a funny taste if you get it in your mouth.
