Everyone. Look at our court system... Its anything but justice. A simple maxim for justice being justice is : the punishment should fit the crime. But it doesn't. Every crime is magnified into several - you stole a pencil, you conspired to steal a pencil, you conspired to subvert the pencil gods, and you resisted arrest, too, which means you conspired to resist arrest, and then you were in contempt of the court because you said the charges are unfair, and if you say that's unfair then you're in contempt even more, and every single thing is a charge with years of prison time and crazy fines. And then judges can refuse to hear evidence, and they can pass judgement in secret. We have secret courts in this country now, like the USSR did.

People can't live like that, and they can't live by tip toeing around on eggshells. Its wrong. People have to say its wrong.

people have been saying it is wrong

and a pillar of any democracy, the fourth estate, was compromised from the jump*

*see: the spanish american war and the yellow press

*see: the war between Joseph Pulitzer who purchased the New York World in 1883 and told his editors to use sensationalism, crusades against corruption, and lavish use of illustrations to boost circulation and William Randolph Hearst who then purchased the rival New York Journal in 1895

and how is the fifth estate doing?

the emergent group of non-mainstream media sources, such as bloggers and online platforms, that influence public discourse

our best is how the fifth estate is doing

we are literally doing it, you and i
