They took out loans against JPEGs? 🤯🤦‍♂️

They violated the first rule.

Never invest monkee that you can't afford to lose.

loans against something that you can right-click save…

This is wild

No replacement for rektucation

It sucks to see they’re getting liquidated on loans… when they could’ve sold half a year ago for the price of a comfortable house? Call me heartless but I don’t care and that’s why I’m fully off Twitter now.

I’m noting this while wearing an Ape Fest 2021 shirt.

“I minted a Bored Ape at the top and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.”

The crazy part is I think I paid $45 for it, but I also don’t own an ape. Never have and probably never will.

Pretty soon, even $45 will seem expensive for a JPEG.

Rekt

Time to stock up on apes bruh 🤡

Lol. So the lender lost dollar and get lousy monkey picture in return?

I think the lender is the bigger idiot here

I’m no expert on how monkee lending works but I think there’s usually a loan-to-gorilla ratio where liquidapetion occurs before the lender loses the principal.

Say to liquidation ratio is at 75%

If the lender isn't able to sell the collateral monkey jpeg even after giving 25% discount to current price. Then the lender will also lose

Unless the monkey jpeg market is highly liquid, there is a chance the lender also lose here
